What do I get?
PHP 8.4, a private MySQL 8.4 database, SFTP access, free SSL on your FutureHost address and any domain you connect, daily backups, and a browser database tool. WordPress can be installed for you at signup.
Can the AI assistant edit my PHP site?
Yes. Open the workspace and ask for a change. The assistant edits your live theme or PHP files, checks the PHP syntax, and saves a snapshot first so you can undo any change. It never sees your database password.
How is my site kept separate from other customers?
Every PHP site runs in its own locked-down sandbox with its own disk quota, memory and CPU limits. It cannot read other sites, reach internal services, or run programs it uploads.
Can WordPress send email?
PHP mail() is switched off to protect deliverability. WordPress sends through SMTP instead: we preinstall WP Mail SMTP, and you can use a FutureHost mailbox or any provider.
Is there a free plan for PHP hosting?
No. PHP & MySQL hosting is included with the Website and Business plans and is paid before your server is set up. AI websites still have a free plan.
Can I move an existing WordPress site?
Yes. Upload your files over SFTP and import your database with the database tool. Our migration guide walks through it, and support can help.
