Free is an ongoing plan, not an expiring promotion. Get $5 in free AI credit at signup, plus up to $30 in free AI usage each month. Promotional AI credit is topped back up to $1 once per UTC day when the balance is below $1; missed days do not accumulate. Free also includes one hosted site, 1 GB storage, basic forms and seven-day history.
When should I choose Website?
Choose Website when the site represents a real business: connect one custom domain, create one professional email mailbox, remove the FutureHost badge, collect more leads and keep longer backups, history and analytics.
What makes Business different?
Business adds ten professional mailboxes, five email domains, managed Node.js, a private PostgreSQL database, encrypted secrets, logs, rollback and ZIP import. Website and Business can also use a personal OpenRouter key for coding and images.
How does the Business trial work?
The one-time 14-day trial begins only when you choose a Business feature. No card is required. If your app or database is in use when it ends, the whole site pauses rather than falling back to a broken static version; your work is retained for 90 days.
Are there surprise usage charges?
No. FutureHost never automatically tops up AI credit. The dashboard shows your balance, task caps, model prices and usage; optional $5, $10 and $25 top-ups require checkout confirmation.
Can I cancel?
Yes. A paid plan remains available through the period you already paid for, then the site pauses. Data is normally retained for 90 days so you can resubscribe or export it.
